It's an addiction for them, so they refuse to acknowledge what is real. They throw up strawmen arguments to win media and internet attention, and hopefully gain the votes of emotionally, mentally and morally weak politicians. Note the last Senate vote. Nowhere was there any threat to the 2nd Amendment in that legislation.

It's a "slippery slope" angle, the same argument libs used when Bush was waterboarding terrorists, but NOT when Obama was killing them and their families with drone strikes.

Thanks for believing in NOTHING.

Seems like you are more concerned with liberal hypocrisy than your own. Drone strikes are an alternative to expensive ground operations and occupations. And in Pakistan they are a direct result of Bush's war he left for Obama to clean up.

I am actually pretty conflicted on drone use. I think it is dangerous for us to set precedent that drone use should be considered legal under international law concerning the sovereignty of nations.

We're not going to be the only nation with advanced drone technology for very long. Soon, China will be bombing the Ughuir and Turkistan populations. Russia will be carrying out drone strikes on Chechnya. Frank will be carrying out drone strikes in Mali. Saudi Arabia in Yemen. Israel in the Palestinian Territories. Pakistan in the Northern Frontier. Iraq in Kurdistan. Turkey in Kurdistan. North Korean use in South Korean airspace.

You can see how quickly drone use or the use of any aircraft outside internationally recognized laws against the use of such aircraft for military operations could proliferate.

We have to be careful because these nations will reference U.S. drone use for decades to justify their own specific operations.
