The biggest difference between Yoko Ono and Meade Skelton is Yoko Ono has a fan base. I don't get why people like her music but some do.

so that youtube above opened by mistake following the one i was trying to learn by ear - i was trying to learn "do it again" by ear. but i recognized the guy from an earlier review on FFU.

my problem is hearing is not good. chick playing uses a mahagony guitar with ebony board with distortion at max and was muting notes quickly - each of which contributes to pitch deafness and i don't hear well to begin with. i was considering buying the sheet music for it. (i cannot turn up the volume for this night hobby and if i could youtube CD "1440" quality sucks compared to "old" records)

i figured out it sounded funny and hands didn't match notes because of "pulling off to open". by ear i figured out scale was unusual (3 consecutive notes in scale is not typical - ie hendrix would not do that) - but still not sure it stays in one scale and doesn't change scales also (like a chorus would).


slow progress though i was going to buy a sheet for it

then found THEY ARE DISTRIBUTING THEM FREE


it really pisses me off more than anything - you know i have a song book with beatles music that IS NOT ACCURATE i had to pay cash for working a bad job - and to see democrats using gov money serving their kids my money - i fucking hate them - they've done it so much USA is deep deep deep in chinese trade deficit while also "keeping these theft jobs in the family" - where they keep hiring their family and relatives into these gov and tech jobs

(me i'm a little different skill wise - i'm doing as a night hobby but used to play - so if i know what scale your in i can pick up the rest by ear or do parly my own in same scale not care). i haven't touched it in 30 yrs and dont know enough scales to fit "weird muted jazz scales". many or most leads are not like that they follow along very predictable pitches and scales.

the rooftop band recording showed their stuff - why the beatles beat other bands - they played hard with conviction even on slow songs - cleanly consisely carefully

their beginnings battling other bands in the streets "to be the last band standing" is likely part of that

these people have no gusto they are laxidaisical - the leads is just laszy and completely tone deaf to the original nuance that was making sour notes sound terrific that lennon did.

(the ear is a funny thing. the feel of bad "not major" notes depends wholey on how played, you might say)

the singer was lazy and kept vaulting toward the MIC from 3' away oddly. the guitarist lazy didn't even tune equipment to make proper sounds

btw ask me how the rooftop recording was so perfect and no wind sounds or talking or noise IDK if it was re-recorded in studio or just professional experience setup

you have to want that sound and grab every note of it - competing with other bands - pleasing the audience with an amazing sounding lulaby - which also takes practice but practice alone will (not in 50 years) suffice

he makes it appear he's just playing the notes off sheet music tapping his foot and it sounds great

but it isn't what it appears - he's a dead ringer - a player can do that (just mimic notes and timing) without the feel and gusto and make it sound "really close" but not quite if a very good player. it isn't what it appears though. he's no noob he's been playing for decades and played pro.
