What do you think happened with Northam, Fairfax and Herring?

Northam is busted for black face and appears ready to step down. No, wait. Justin Fairfax, the Lt.Governor and next in line is ready to take over but is suddenly haunted by two separate rape allegations. Attorney General Mark Herring agrees Northam should step down. Mortham apologizes for the black face as a disaster of a press conference where he jokes about how difficult shoe polish is to remove shoe polish and is stopped from moonwalking by his wife. Mark Herring seems to be the next in line and a stable replacement, but then admits he also wore black face. Huh?

I think this may have been a case of a three way Mexican standoff. While the initial tipoff about Northams black face came from an outsider, it looks like the allegations against Fairfax benefited Herring most and may have been promoted by him. Unfortunately for Herring, his self-righteous demand for Northam to resign blew up on him and he was forced to admit wearing black face also..
