I guess I should state: 1.) I know that it is a $40 fine with $61 in court fees should I get caught with it. This is a state law and court fees vary throughout, though it almost always is around $100 after it is all said and done. They are not allowed legally to confiscate the device and instead take it to the car, write the serial number/make/model and will return it. It is pre-payable as well,
