I'm not sure how you came to be so arrogant that you feel entitled to attack people for expressing their thoughts, but -- you seem inappropriately hostile and over the top angry at a simple post. Is that all it takes to trigger your rage? I'm not sure how people like you become the way you are, but I'm sorry for you. In future, when you see my name, please do me a huge favor and ignore. You'll

I do have a grip. Unlike you, apparently, I actually have feelings and care about this young man and his family. What concerns me is how you could react so arrogantly and with such lack of compassion. Wow.

God bless you Bryan Glenn. Whatever happened to you, the world has one less wonderful young soul to carry on. I'm sorry I couldn't attend your funeral service today. But I will always think about you. My own son made a suicide attempt not long ago, and all I can think is that I am blessed to have another chance to help him. I never saw it coming, and I guess maybe your parents didn't either.

No,we're not going to "let it rest" until we gain better clarity on what happened. Remember, the same police who are telling us "there is no predator out there" are the same ones who could not locate his body.

Many thanks to the poster who provided the obituary, I didn't see it in the paper. Also thank you to the poster(s) who shed light on who is eligible to be buried at Arlington. I guess since Bryan's Dad is or was a Colonel he will be buried there and wants his family to be together. For those who don't like that, don't worry, there are people like my 97 year old WWII Vet Dad who will be buried

Adolescents are too young to realize suicide is permanent -- that they're not going to magically revive or come back -- that someone isn't necessarily going to find them in time or be able to help them. Suicide prevention is something every school needs to incorporate into its health curriculum. Even so, there are times such a tragedy will occur in spite of parents' best efforts. I don't reall

If Bryan did decide to end his life, that in and of itself is a terrible tragedy. I don't think his parents will be in denial if that's what the evidence clearly indicates. Maybe it's the rest of us who are struggling to understand how he could have been standing next a tree for a week and no one noticed -- not a dog, not a cop, no one at the park -- it's just very strange and disturbing. I co

I am very glad they have a PI on this. A lot of people in the community harbor serious concerns about both the way Bryan's case was handled as well as what the real cause of his death may be. Something isn't adding up.

People keep talking about this because something seems off kilter. Why did Bryan buy two bottles of water and why were both opened and sitting in his car? Did he give a ride to someone from DD to the park? Why couldn't the dogs pick up his scent? His body wasn't far from the path -- it's not like the dogs would have had to roam deep into the woods to find him. Why wasn't there any odor? Peo

Well -- remember ... Bryan's family is in shock. Never in their wildest dreams did they expect this to happen to their son -- to their family. And it's permanent -- losing their son and living with all the "why's" and "what if's" -- this is their new "normal" for the rest of their lives. I'm guessing this alone is probably more than they can bear, much less feeling they have to communicate to

How do you know Bryan didn't receive this kind of attention? Did you know him personally? Were you an acquaintance of the family? If so, perhaps you should have done something to help prevent this tragedy. Everyone becomes an expert when looking through the rearview mirror. I'd rather hear sympathy, even "insincere" sympathy," than judgement and criticism towards a community that is struggl

Poor Bryan. Police should have taken their job more seriously and approached his caase with the same concern they would if it were one of their own kids. Regarding the auto asphixiation theory -- why would he go to the woods, close to a path that is frequently used, to do such a thing? I'm still not convinced he didn't go there to -- maybe buy some weed or ? and met up with a criminal type.

I guess we won't know the full story of what happened to Bryan until all the toxicology reports, etc. come in. I helped with the search the day Bryan was found, and I did find quite a bit of stuff indicating that people hang out in those woods. I also observed what appeared to be transients milling about. I am not familiar with this park so I didn't know what (if any) kind of reputation it ha

Well -- as far as we know -- this kid is an all around good guy with no history of getting into trouble, etc. However -- we don't know stuff like -- has he been talking with someone online; was he upset over something that happened recently; has he been showing signs of depression that have gone unnoticed, etc. I am hopeful that since the dogs have searched the park he's not there. On the othe
