Amanda -- I agree that 2-3 hours of homework a night is excessive... even for high school students. I would think that a GT math teacher would be sensitive to this issue and not assign "busy" homework. Talk to the teacher; express your concerns to the principal. School is supposed to be enjoyable -- especially prior to high school -- and children need their down time when the school day is ov
