Fairfax County Circuit Court has a proprietary case information system that is different from and far more detailed and reliable than the system most of the rest of the circuit courts use. You have to pay to log on remotely, but if you go to the courthouse records office on the third floor you can log on and search from their computers.

Be aware that in the last week or so there has been a rash of vehicle break-ins and thefts in the Fair Lakes area, apparently centered in the subdivisions around the Malibu Grill. The thieves aren't breaking locks or windows, and the thefts all appear to be relatively petit - loose change, cell phone chargers, ipods, tire pumps, etc. However, at least one victim had some expensive sports equipmen
