Your Views on Indians in the area?

Hello All,
I have been living in the fairfax county of almost about a year.. and I have seen a lot of indians here. I would like to know what do the people here..American Women/Men think of Indian Men/Women. Im primarily looking for your views on young indians below 35.
Im a 25 year old Indian guy and sometimes I and many other people I know have had a feeling that some american girls.. especially in big cities like new york.. do not like indian men. However Im not sure about it. Also what are the views of American people about young indians in general?
Anyways it would be great to know some honest opinions. IF you dislike something then what it is? what shall we improve?

I don't think anyone cares about the younger crowd or even much about the men... it's your mothers!! We can't stand Indian middle-aged+ female drivers in NoVa!! They're slow, erratic and generally annoying! None of them should be allowed to drive!
That said, it also seems like non-native Indians in general seem to have an attitude towards Americans...like they're better or somehow we owe them something. But a lot of Koreans in the area are the same. Overall though I like Indians myself. Heavily cultured, good food, good work ethic in general.

I saw some pretty nice Indian women in the pool this summer, and not a whiff of curry in the air.

These are just generalizations, but I've been the in the hospitality industry since I was 16...
You tip terribly, we see you coming and everyone hides, I've seen gratuity added to your checks based on your ethinicity
The head bobble, is that a yes or no? I just need an up down, or a side to side, please no circles
I dated an indian for 2 years, his mothers was a nightmare. Cruel, rude and absolutly hated anyone who wasn't from the same area in india they were from
Please stop bargaining, in North America, prices are set fees, I understand it is a cultural issue, but we are a capitalist society, and in America, we're trying to get things done quickly and efficently, so dithering about the price of this and that just takes up valuable time and is irritating.

All that you said is 100% true. Just a few things..Yes we tip terribly.. because most Indians don't feel a cab driver who is driving us 7-8 miles deserves a tip.. he is already being paid for his job. Also most of us are unknown of the fact the in Restaurants the waiters only get 2-2.5$/hr and rest of their income depends on tips.
Having said that don't state that "GIVING TIP is ON CUSTOMER'S WILL" if you are going to judge those who don't give. make it compulsory if that is bothering you.
As far as Mothers go.. Very few Indian Mother's might be okay with their son/daughter Seriously dating someone outside of India. And they do make it obvious with their behavior.. so such things should first be discussed with your bf/gf before taking such topics to Mother.
Bargaining: Yes there are Indians who come to US and still feel they are in India and Bargain for clothes or other shopping etc.Which is entirely wrong.
But I totally support bargaining while buying Cars from Dealers or getting insurance quotes..because they are those uneducated jerks who just want to mint out money from people for no reason.
