Hard or highly chlorinated water in Herndon?

Hey guys,
I live near herndon area. Just wanted your views on the quality of water coming out of the showers in our area.I have been living here since last one year and I believe the water here is increasing my hair loss.. The shampoo and soap lathers properly so I don't know if its hard water or highly chlorinated.I was living in Maryland (PG) before and there I did not face much problem.

My hair has started thinning since a year a so thats why I am more concerned... Any inputs would be appreciated.
