How do you guys feel about Herndon Highschool and if you are going there now, what is it like?

Went back in the day. Bumch of white kids and black kids. Shit was straight.

Probably not good! some of the worst elementary schools feeds into it. Herndon Elementary and Hutchinson . Herndon elementary school has the second worst ecart scores in the county this year . Hutchinson is not much better. The new admin and county hcav cut the stem teachers the only good thing at HES . Morale is terrible at both schools . Most staff it trying to get out. Assistants and Subs are forced to teach and handle the worst kids. They now are short staffed since the teachers call out all the time.No subs will pick up shifts. Herndon Middle school same problem I heard has the same problem. Terrible behavior problems Admin always out of the building. I have no experience with the high school but the feeder schools are falling apart . Admin is always forced in meeting so no one is in the schools.

I thinks it better then south lakes .It a good option for low and high kids .If you kid is in the 75% percent normal range public school is not for you . they have the aap for the "gifted and " tons of programs and support go to the low. Most resources and time go to the behavior issues and lower kids.
