I wish they would respect ALL of our laws, and not just be legal immigrants. Litter is a huge problem and the unsanitary conditions promote rat infestations that can lead to diseases. And then there's the fact that my GF can't go to a store by herself without being groped or innappropriately confronted by them so I taught her to shoot, got her a subcompact 40 cal and a CCP. I don't believe all latinos are illegal. There are some great, hard working, honest latinos who are citizens that I highly respect.

What I don't have respect for is those that are here illegally. Those that utilize the emergency rooms instead of a walk-in medical clinic because the E.R. can't refuse a person treatment. Sadly, those expenses get passed onto us the taxpayers.

Children of illegal latinos are attending our schools. Yet, their parents are not paying into the tax revenue system. They're getting a free education on behalf of the legitimate tax payers, while their parents work for money "under the table" as day laborers.

This is a major issue that needs lots of attention. Again, for the last time, I'm not hating on latinos, but I am hating on the illegals that have wrongly entered our country and assume they can seek freedom and asylum here.

I wish we could clean up this site of people who can't type a coherent sentence into a browser to post on a public forum. Let's deport those people, instead of the illegals. That said, the Law is the Law. The Law says that people who are not here with valid visas are here illegally. in the 1980's there were few spanish in this area and people invited more foreigners. even the illegal ones no one cared about. they use to call them "lazy mexicans" and they usually worked in lower paying jobs. "born in the u.s.a." was a very popular movie.

the ones who'd been around, long time citizens, were wealthy and all, and they are a completely different book (there weren't many, mostly fed gov implants from other areas).

in the 90's white government workers gave themselves jobs learning spanish and bending over to importing illegals to give themselves an excuse to access (cp steal) tax money, saying they were doing it for the world community (selling people like me off getting a cush gov job, traitors). that is one BIG way the foreign population increased. also during that time those damn gov workers TRIPLED their damn gov pay. and were involved with using the green card labor with that pay at quite an advantage to others: you can see that fact in the fx law library it's "fx policy" to do it. and they were CAUGHT selling green cards right out of DMV which is now about run by foreigners.

meanwhile allot of rich company owners who were too lazy to work and too greedy to hire their neighbors who needed work: and soaked up cheap labor, illegal labor. there is no doubt it's still on-going. now many foreigners own the same companies and are competing i bet. been going on that long.

The fact that someone would assume that 'illegals' carry drugs in Centreville is hilarious.

Instead of accusing the working, supposedly 'poor' illegal aliens( how would they even be able to afford the drugs?), why don't you look at your own kids. As a recent graduate of Westfield, I can promise you that the teens from Virginia Run, Sequioa Farms, Pleasant Valley and so on practically breathe drugs.

Last Sunday morning, I pulled up to a 7-11 looking for a couple men to help with my Mothers move. Do you know who were waiting in the freezing rain for the opportunity to work? White people? No. Black people? No. Asian people? No. Indians? No. Europeans? No. Africans? No. Middle Eastern? No. It was Spanish people. Waiting outside, in the rain, ready to WORK for money. Not standing in line to collect unemployment, welfare or other tax payer funded assistance. The other ethnicities I mentioned before could stand to learn a thing or two about good work ethic from "Mexicans".

Are they unrefined? Yes? Do they lack a clear understanding of the American culture? Yes. But so did your backassward polish, Irish, German, French, Scotish, etc grandparents when they got off boats from their country to find a better life in America.

Here's another tidbit, MOST illegal aliens want to come to our country for a few years. Save up money to buy a nice house and land in their country with the goal to move back. They do not want to stay in this country long term. They're here to make money and leave, all the while being discriminated against and be treated like trash.

So in short, if you'd like to see less illegal immigrants in our area devise a plan to stop them and bring it to your elected officials. i do not deny their work ethic. but the reason they are standing there is because they could not get unemployment insurance. if they were citizens, i guarantee you they would think twice about staying home rather than standing in the rain, waiting for work.

and, northern VA has the laziest white people. if you go elsewhere, you move yourself, and have friends help you. that is one reason for the proliferation of illegal immigrants - northern VAers are just too good to take time to do their own house work.

I think there has to be a better way to blend people into society than rounding people up, and shipping them off. Illegal immigration is how our "proud nation" was born. We need people willing to work at the bottom, in order to give their children a better future. People complain that they don't pay taxes, but in reality, they wouldn't make enough to make a dent in our tax system. Also, studies have shown, that by the third generation, immigrant families are completely assimilated, and the third generation of children don't even speak the language of their parents.
"These people" are obviously just looking to try to make a better life for them and their family. What an incredibly human goal! What would you have done, if you were un-lucky enough to have been born into a country torn apart by war? Would you have stayed and filled out paperwork, and then waited years to hear that no one cares about your problem? My guess is no. You would have gotten your children out of there if it killed you. Going to another country, where the worst they will do is look at you like human garbage, and then detain and deport you seems to me, like the most responsible action a loving parent could have taken.
