Does Anyone Else Hate the Welcome to Centreville Signs?

Having a sign that says "Welcome to Centreville" is a great idea, but Who the hell designed the signs on Route 29? They are the ugliest things I've ever seen. There is one close to the CVS, but you really have to look for it. IT's behind a tree. The other one is down 29 just before the quarry.

They are god-awful looking signs.... a black background with dark brownish gold letters. You can't even make out the wording. Sheesh! And they're way too small and poorly located to make a difference.... What's up with that anyway? I hope my tax dollars didn't go to pay for those butt-ugly signs....

I've lived in Centreville my entire life and have never seen a "Welcome to Centreville" sign.

The signs are there but are a little difficult to see. They've been up for several years. Can't say that I hate them. It's a nice idea I suppose - I think they were put up by a citizen's association.

Never seen them before and no. I don't hate them. I think you're on your own on that one.

Given the sheer number of places where Centreville and Chantilly merge together, the city would need about 15 of those things to cover each road.
