Post Corners is very nice. Lived there for three years. Beautiful grounds, great staff, well maintained, nice fitness center and pool, convenient to restaurants and shopping. Be forewarned, though -- it's pricey. We paid about $2200 a month for a decent-sized place, and that was like six years ago. Still, very positive experience at Post Corners.

Stay away from Bent Tree they nickel and dime every resident and don't give a shit about anyone. The new management has no idea what they are doing, did I mention the neighbors? Don't do it. Overpriced shit hole.

I lived in Post Coners from 1995 to 2001 and thought it was great. Management company was good and place very well maintained, with decent neighbors. I reccomended it to my son when he started looking for an apartment, but he rented in the Post property at Tysons which he likes as well.

Definitely stay away from bent tree. Overpriced and awful leasing agents and maintenance service. We paid rent on time every month for 15 months and they raised our rent by over $100 to renew our lease!

Actually, I recently did a search of apartments (2 bed, 1 bath) all around the nova area and found that while Arlington/Tyson/Alexandria tend to be more pricey due to their proximity to the city and urban environment, the apartments everywhere now are expensive.

It used to be that people would come to Centreville to be far enough out to not have to pay such high rents.
