buying vs renting in C'ville

Is it demographically and crimewise and quality of life-wise worthwhile to take out a mortgage for the next 30 years to live in Centreville, vs Fairfax or Gainesville? Seems to be a transient area, where property values may stay stable, at best ....

I'd say, yet. Low crime; affluent neighborhoods.

They're easily best in this order:
1. Fairfax
2. Centreville
3. Gainesville
