Looks like a new cell phone tower going to be installed at Stone Middle School.

Just my opinion, but I think a commercial area would be a little more appropriate for a cell tower than a school surrounded by residential. There are likely commercial spots within a 1/2 mile of London Towne and 1 mile of Stone. But for some reason in Fairfax County they like to put them on school grounds.

The reason the schools are doing is because of, guess this, money. They lease the property to the cell tower company cell tower company comes in builds then rolls out. Fairfax gets a check every month. Ask where the money goes? No body knows!
