The march is political.

The uniform is for military events and formal gatherings and funerals. Please tell me which one of those walking down the street telling people you like dick falls under? Or how its appropriate to even be having sexuality marches in the first place.

Two of the biggest concern with gays in the military were itd be a distraction and theyd get special treatment. Whats the first thing they do when they get allowed to serve, show up to a gay march in uniform. Theyve now made it a distraction. The fact they wont face the UCMJ like many other soldiers have for wearing uniforms to political events have now means their getting special treatment. It will only get more distracting from here.

I dont care if you want to be gay but stop throwing it in our faces. Im sick and tired of them making their entire life about the fact theyre gay. Be a normal personal and keep your sexual acts to your self.

It was a parade. I see the military at parades all of the time. The fact is you don't like them because they are gay. You have no other good reason because the reasons you have offered so far are total nonsense.

Most people do not condone the gay lifestyle. They are just afraid to be honest about it. If you were a Federal employee or military member looking to be promoted you would be crazy to say well it just doesnt appeal to me.

Only a real government employee could have written the above. I am also subjected to "training" which has nothing to do with my job but all to do with a personal agenda on some groups part. Only a person ready to retire or one crazed enough to commit promotional suicide speaks up at these "training" events. You just learn to keep your mouth shut and nod your head if you want to keep your job.

If you desire a future promotion you not only nod your head but openly support whatever agenda is being presented at the time of the so called training. +1. They can't do anything unless it's "in your face" and that only

No if they didnt have parades people wouldnt make such a big deal. If they felt so strongly they should have left the uniform at home, like every single other person in the military is expected to when going to other events thats arent so loved by the main stream media.

I know this is hopeless...but here goes. Not only are gays not generally given special consideration in college admissions and for jobs, they are not even Federally protected against discrimination. Twenty-one states outlaw discrimination based on sexual orientation - that means that a majority don't. Now it is possible that some very limited schools and employers may have outreach programs to attract more gay people, but that is not the norm.

Ask yourself - have you ever been asked in school or job applications if you are gay? Didn't think so. There are a handful of schools that ask this now, but they are extremely rare. You've spent way too much time listening to Rush.

As the other posted out youre right you are hopeless. They get special consideration all the time and special treatment once theyre there. And the states dont allow discrimination, they just make them get treated like everyone else and not get special consideration. They dont have to ask when you can work it into the application or mention it during youre interview. Schools 100% do treat it as a minority group and brag about their large gay populations if they have them.

Ask youre self this have you ever seen anyone get special consideration for being straight? Have they had special straight groups? Straight tolerence meetings? Straight parades? Straight awareness day? Straight celebration day?

The only photo that might approach that is the last one...which is an embrace. There already have been more than a few get dishonorable discharges for Tea Party events. One marine even got discharged for a tea party fb group for using the world marine in it
