I have hated Matt Lauer ever since he went with a shaved head look.
He looks like a punk.

I like Matt, but I don't understand why he shaved his head, and I don't understand why the network let him do it. He looks awful.

I know Ann Curry is supposed to be nice, but I never could stand her, for some reason. That faux empathy look was really annoying.

Nobody with a brain watches NBC.

Probably because he was balding. But doesn't really help with the way his looks. Him and that dude from the PCMatic commercial both look like they have mange.

Savannah will be a lot easier on the eyes. And she's sharp, too. Agree completely about Curry's faux empathy. And Lauer just looks . . . odd.

That is not a good look. I never thought about Matt cutting it cause he's balding...I just thought he liked it short. But, then again, I'm a woman and the only hair we have to worry about is our husband's.

What got me about the whole Ann Curry farewell was this B.S. about her being a "pioneer." Really? How? She was a female newscaster in the late 90s, decades after the real women broadcasting pioneers. And if it was something to do her being part Asian, Connie Chung is full Asian and co-hosted a national newscast long before Curry was on Today. No wonder they hate her.

Agreed. I remember the real female pioneers...many of whom are still around. BTW, if you want a good read, get Barbara Walters autobiography.
