everyone knows that Superman's one vulnerability is magic, and Thor is not quite 'magic', but he is a god, and god is magic, so I say Thor wins. Shazam beat the ever-lovin' stuffing out of Superman one time, and Shazam is a puss. That's how weak Superman becomes around magic.

...not even Superman could lift Thor's hammer, I don't care how powerful he is. Superman is not worthy enough to pick up Mjolnir. He's done some bad stuff.

If Superman gets hold of Thors hammer then Thor is screwed. Superman can turn the world backwards and can withstand a nuclear blast so he can easily kick Thors ass.

I always took exception to the Superman turning back time by reversing the Earth's rotation thing. Yes, Superman could reverse the Earth's rotation, but that's a dumb idea that just because the Earth started turning the other way that we would actually go back in time. That wouldn't happen. I don't know what would happen if the Earth started spinning backwards, but I'm pretty sure we wouldn't all travel back in time. Something weird would happen, we'd probably all die or something. But it wouldn't be time travel. That's dumb.

I would've liked to see Kang the Conquerer as the villain in The Avengers. Loki has never been a serious threat to Thor or The Avengers. He's the god of mischief. Not that dangerous, really.


that Green Lantern movie was shockingly bad, by the way. Caught some of it on HBO a couple weeks ago. Absolutely appallingly bad.

What continuity? DC has changed its universe continuity more times that I change my shorts. Now Superman wears jeans. Give me break! Superman could throw Thor into the sun and Thor would be burned to crisp. Superman wouldn't. Contest OVER!

remember when Superman died and came back as four different Supermans? Cyborg Superman, Superboy (the gay early 90's version), Energy Superman, and ......other Superman? That was really lame.


and then Superman got split in two---Red Superman and Blue Superman. And that also stunk.
