S&M porn for women.

About a rich guy that is in to S&M with some college girl. Women are all over it. She becomes his sex slave.

This series was recommended to me and like a good sheep, I read the first two books.

They are poorly written and the plot is completely unbelievable. So far, I'm assuming that this sounds like the average description of a romance novel (I've only read a few).

The BDSM part was misleading. Everyone in the "scene" was portrayed as extremely damaged or as a villain. Being submissive was basically equated to being abused, crazy, or weak. Dominant? You are abusive or have been abused and are therefore unable to have a normal relationship.

The sex scenes were so frequent and so similar that I skipped most of them.

This is porn for women. Actual images/video don't really work as well for women because they compare their own body to the porn star's body, and then become obsessed about how they aren't pretty enough. With a book, they can picture themselves in the sex scene instead.

I think it's because women are ugly and stupid.

My gf liked the Girl with the Dragon Tatto esp the part where she got it in the ass. She was so turned on she wanted me to do that to her, previously that was off limits. I helped her out she loved it and now that is part of the daily fun.

It is a generalization. There are plenty of women that enjoy porn. But 50 Shades of Gray makes it to the top sellers list...

Five bucks says the word "turgid" appears in the novel somewhere as an adjective for male genitalia.

Really? No descriptions of "turgid members"? I owe you five bucks, I guess.
