I have a policy that I will listen to whatever I want while I'm working, and I can make that stick because I am a worker of average competence and not a special needs child. If in an office, I will turn the sound off when someone comes in, and if not in an office, I use an earphone. Managers are quite accomodating in this regard: I once was relocated to a nicer office because the radio reception was better there.

The problem as I see it is the guy was "laughing [his] ass off" at this particular podcast. That makes me question his mental health and lack of appropriate workplace decorum, regardless of social media postings.

A lot of guys who run their own shows/companies purchase their own health insurance.
