The Redskins traded Santana Moss and Chris Cooley for The Colts #1 pick in the draft. Also the Redskins signed Peyton Manning to a $90 Million 4 Year Contract. This means that the Redskins not only have Peyton Manning but they still have the Number 1 and Number 6 picks to pick up a young WR and young quarterback who can work and learn under Peyton Manning. Mike Shanahan is the man! They are having a Press Conference televised live at 4PM on NBC. WOOOT!

Manning wants to play for a team that is a QB away from going to the SuperBowl. How many teams are a QB away from a SuperBowl with a coach who is on the verge of losing his job if he doesn't get it done? That means teams like the 49ers and the Dolphins with relatively new coaches who want to build their perfect teams don't necessarily want to get tied to a QB who won't be around for more than a year or two. And we all know the Skins, Browns and Seahawks are not a QB away from going to a SuperBowl.

In my mind, that only leaves these options...

Jets
Bears
Cardinals (more for Larry Fitzgerald than anything else)

I don't think Manning will get along with Rex Ryan and I don't think he wants to play in NYC because of Eli.

The Bears probably haven't given up on Cutler to a point where they would jettison him for an experiment. And Chicago is cold and dome-less.

The Cardinals are still in a relatively easy division, in a retractable roof stadium playing another team in a domed stadium. And Whisenhunt is probably fucked if they don't get into the playoffs this year. Also, his only success as a head coach has been tied to another injured veteran HOF QB.

AZ is probably the most likely choice, Miami could be an option too with Marshall but again hell wanna go somewhere thats a playoff caliber team. The more you think about it the less options there really are for him and its pretty hard to justify anywhere but AZ unless he wants to play for the sake of saying hes playing.

Everyone knows the Redskins won't win anything with the poisonous atmosphere created by Snyder.

Manning knows any team even halfway in contention could go to the super bowl. Like any other human being he will go where the most money is. Remember the Giants were picked for third place behind the supposed Super Bowl winning Eagles and second place Cowboys. You know how that worked out.
Snyder is stupid enough to shell out the big bucks and him being a star fucker will love the press coverage until the Skins do their three games and out performance.

Peyton Manning to Seattle.

Manning constantly took pay cuts so that the Colts could give him a winning team to work with. I really don't think Manning will go to the highest bidder if that bidder sucks, like the Redskins do.

I disagree. I think Manning has had all the fame he needs, now its time to sock away the big bucks before full retirement. IMO he is a total fool to risk injury which could cripple him for life. He has nothing to prove to anyone.
