I don't get it. What does the holocaust have to do with evolution?

Maybe if that person actually learned all she needed to know about evolution from "Origin of Species" or the myriad of other scientific sources, she would know what evolution is.

I wonder if the Jews being exterminated thought this.

Sadly, very few Christians properly understand the concept of evolution.

Some creationists argue that "survival of the fittest" is an imperialist concept that justifies racial prejudice and ethnic cleansing. Their dumb conclusion: evolution must be wrong because Darwin was only trying to rationalize British imperialism.

Fortunately, if something ever replaces the theory of evolution, those ideas will come from scientists, not from religious idiots.

Evolution is not about "survival of the fittest". It's about gene mutation and whether those mutations adapt positively or negatively to the species environment.

There is no "fittest". If so, the world would be full of the same type of person by now. Most environments now require the ability to cooperate with with other races and species, so there can really be no "fittest".

The uncertainty with evolution lies with man-made genetic mutation. When that begins en mass, all bets are off.

BMTs are great. However the Subway near me was taken over by Indians and you are lucky if they put two tomato slices on a whole foot long. They get nasty if you ask for more toppings. Other times they will feign that they do not speak English if you ask for the toppings.

I find that pointing at the toppings while making clicking sounds is somewhat effective.

Its tough because the toppings are so close together. If I point to more tomatoes they will on purpose lay on those nasty bananna peppers.

The Nazis used evolution and other scientific theories to rationalize their eugenics programs as well as their military conquests.

They weren't the only ones; many American states had hideous eugenics programs which were based on the same junk versions of real science, and Marx's bullshit was also based on psuedo-scientific analysis of history. It's common for extremists and tyrants of every stripe to twist science to get what they want to hear out of it and use it to rationalize atrocious ideas and behavior.

I think it's an atheist sticker. Jews are considered the christian god's "holy people". Hitler killed a lot of Jews in the Holocaust. And Jesus saves (according to many christians/that sticker). If Jesus saved, wouldn't he have saved god's holy people? Surely god wouldn't let his holy people be the scapegoats of a crazy dictator! Basically, because the Jews weren't saved, it's proof that god doesn't exist. So, if god doesn't exist, you need another reason for the world to be the way that it is and the reason with heaps and heaps of evidence is evolution. It's a pro-evolution sticker.

And objectively speaking, there is nothing unscientific about eugenics. Eugenics is a legitimate concept that has been unfairly demonized.

We shouldn't let stupid people and those with severe disabilities and genetic diseases to live or reproduce.

And we should try to create superhumans.

When major breakthroughs are made in genetic engineering, you won't be able to stop the desire to create babies that are free from disease, super intelligent, physically attractive and their personilities designed in such a way to be desirable.

It will be the next major leap in human evolution towards the creation of new species - assuming we ever do make these breakthroughs in genetic science.
