The GOP’s vagina monologues

On Wednesday, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, a powerful influence among Republican lawmakers, described as a “slut” the law-school student invited by House Democrats to testify in support of birth control. “It makes her a prostitute,” Limbaugh said of the woman, blocked last month by House Republicans from testifying on what became an all-male panel. “She wants to be paid to have sex.”

Still on Thursday, the industrious Virginia House of Delegates also approved legislation bestowing rights on people, including a father, to bring a lawsuit over the death of the fetus.

About 100 miles south of Washington on that same day, Virginia legislators passed a measure requiring a woman to be offered an ultrasound image of her fetus before aborting it.

On Thursday, the Senate took up an amendment proposed by Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) that would allow employers to deny women birth-control coverage if the employer found contraception morally objectionable.

Hey those pictures are funny! We ain't got nothing like that on our side. You'd think womanizing was a feature that correlated with powerful men of all political beliefs but you just proved that it's Socialists ONLY. That's a fact!

Republi-cants....what a circus. These holier-than-thou clowns just LOVE to tell you what you can’t do. Their campaign slogan should be “No you can’t”. The headlines just keep coming: Republicans condemn condoms! Republicans legislate forced trans-vaginal probes. Republicans tell us to have children of rape ...as a gift from God.  Republicans insult women in hateful word and deed ....degrading women who simply want to plan their families, and control their own bodies. What’s next with these guys? Republicans mandating missionary-position only? Procreation, not recreation...or else?  I really really hate to admit it, but Newt was right. ‘Cause Newt and all his Republican friends SHOULD set up a moon colony.... AND GO THERE! Then they could tell each other what to do, and how to live, and who to love.... and who to hate...while leaving the REST of us alone, in peace, back here on Earth. Newt, I always KNEW that you were a problem-solver. Unfortunately, you and your Republican friends ARE the problem. P.S. We may laugh, and smile, and ridicule...but I know that this is not a game. People that are elected DO affect our lives, and the lives of those we love. It does matter. If I want a find a preacher I go to my place of worship, NOT my voting booth...

Republicans are digging their own graves. They may sink so low that our two party system may be in jeapordy in the next decade. That would not be good for anyone.

We lecture others on lacking respect for women while we hound around on our wives and use tax payers dollars to set up meetings with hookers. But its different right?

That stuff happens on both sides. Even independents play that game.

I dont take lectures on birth control from either party. It is just the democrats are making themselves out to be so respectful of women but cheating on your wife and paying for hookers seems to be ok.

'Tis true. The realization is dawning on the GOP that the White House is now out-of-reach in 2012 and their dreams of gaining control of the Senate are fading fast. Keep this shit up, and the they'll lose the House, too.

It is true in every aspect of life: "When Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy."

Ahem...y'all are a bunch of pinheaded sexists.

When some guy calls some gal a slut - that is a one-way activity.

When some guy fucks their eyes out with some gal, there are two people invloved and that's that. THose "poor woment involved in that sordid affair" aren't "poor women" - they're just enjoying a good time JUST like the men.

Big difference.

You post like there is a difference between the parties. Neither side gives a shit what happens to the middle class. They buy votes from the poor with new entitlements. They accept thirty thousand dollar a plate dinners from the rich who currying favor. The middle class is just an ATM for tax dollars. The poor dont pay taxes and the rich have loopholes to avoid paying.

The White House, Senate and the House dont care what happens as long as they get re elected and buy investments based on inside information which is illegal when done by a common citizen.

Nothing but a bunch of shameless crooks out to feather their own nest. Anyone who thinks there is one bit of difference is a fool.

The SAD fact is the GOP doesnt wage a war against the middle class they wage a war against WOMEN. They should all be put in their place and made barefoot and pregnant permanently in the kitchen and having babies at HOME away from the workplace where the menfolk are earning all the money.

I dont need to show my work. This is my own opinion, made clear to me by my own experience and by READING and opening my eyes and hearing clearly all the information from right left and center. I can make up my own mind without MSNBC or anyone else. THE GOP is for stasis. They are for shrinking the available work force so there is less progression for poor and middle class. Stagnation is their aim so they can garner MORE wealth. Keep the people down, roll back PROGRESS.
