Shanahan Punts on Final Team Meeting for the Season
Date: January 02, 2012 03:03PM

Tell me this doesn't sound like a guy looking for the exit sign....

...Can you imagine Bill Walsh or Vince Lombardi bailing on a team like this at the end of the season? The troops didn't even know they were going to speak. WTF??

It's no big secret that if you go to the Redskins, it's a fucking disaster and the ownership is so impatient that you have two, maybe three years. That's why you get a long term deal so you get paid when they fire you. Shanny has to know that next year he's gone if they don't improve, so why bother. He's got his money.

Doubt Dreadskins get much better next year. Look to be at least 2-3 years from being a good team with a good personnel man which shanny has shown he's not

I'd bet $5 that Cooley is not a Redskin next year

hope Patriots get a better defense next year
thought it was a medicore pro football season

Considering how bad the NFC East was this year, Zorn's 8-8 team would have been in playoff contention instead of Dallas.

Look Pop how old is Cooley and sort of injury prone

and decent tight ends aren't rare in todays college game

cooley probably has to take a pay cut, but the fact fred davis cant put the bong down may have just saved cooleys job. although shanny might not like him anyway after trying him at fb
