I wonder if eesh is involved in this in any way?

(NewsCore) - A body found in shallow grave in Ohio was confirmed to be that of a man who responded to a fake Craigslist ad, the second known victim of the deadly scam.

The Columbus Dispatch reported that the body of 47-year-old Timothy Kern was discovered near an Akron, Ohio, shopping mall at around 8:30am Friday.
Kern had been missing since Nov. 13 after telling his family he was going to meet someone to start a new job.

He died from a gunshot wound to the head and his death was ruled a homicide, the Summit County Medical Examiner's office said.
Investigators said he responded to the same Craigslist ad that lured 51-year-old David Pauley to his death.

Pauley was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head on Nov. 15 in Noble County, Ohio.

Another unidentified body was found shortly before 12:00pm Friday in Noble County near the site where David Pauley was found. An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday.
Noble County Sheriff Stephen Hannum said two suspects -- identified as 52-year-old Richard J. Beasley and 16-year-old Brogan W. Rafferty -- used a Craigslist ad for a farming job, as "a ruse to lure victims into the trap, most likely to commit a murder and relieve the deceased of their personal property," the Akron Beacon Journal reported.

Rafferty was in custody last week in connection with the attempted murder of a man who answered the Craiglist ad and escaped. Beasley, his alleged accomplice, was being held on $1 million bond on unrelated prostitution and drug charges. Neither has been charged with Pauley's murder.

Hannum said it was not known how long the Craigslist ad had been online, nor how many people had responded to it. Kern answered the ad on Oct. 30, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Cleveland FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson said the FBI was not aware of any other missing persons who might be connected to the Craigslist case.

How much "personal property" could the victims have had? They were looking for a job at the time.

Good point. Maybe just some credit cards that the guys could have taken and used them for a few transactions. This incident just caught me as a bit odd. Usually, with Craigslist, it usually happens to be some dumb sex offender getting wrapped up in an incident. This on was quite a bit different, though.
