POLL-Most Blame Obama for Economy
Posted by: WingNut ()
Date: October 20, 2011 09:09AM

"For the first time, a majority of Americans blame President Barack Obama for the nation’s economic problems, according to a new poll Thursday.

A majority - 53 percent - said Obama deserved “a great deal” or a “moderate amount” of the blame for the economic problems that the United States currently faces, the USA Today/Gallup poll shows. This figure has jumped from 32 percent in July 2009, after Obama had only been in office for six months...."

we are running the same old methology that Bush ran and clinton ran that is to crash teh economy of the USA so that all our stuff becomes cheaper than any other nation then the world will buy from us instead.

But those CEO's and presidents of companies will still demand their old pay pre crash era but nobody will be able to afford them and they will mass suicide and I will just piss on their graves.

Obama didn't do enough when he could have with the bailout. That's where he went wrong. And who blocked doing more? Why the very Republicans you have such a hardon for.

I agree that Obama isn't a very good president, he has caved constantly to twisted Republican demands that further erode the economic standing of the US.

So now America is left with two choices - Republican nutjobs that will accelerate the destruction of the US or the spineless Democrats that will do the same thing just in fits and starts as they 'negotiate' with Republicans.

Don't forget the Democrats had complete control of Congress for the first two years of the Obama regime. The Republicans have had a majority in one chamber for less than one year. Obama got everything he wanted as far as bailouts and health care.

The Democrats look ridiculous trying to play the victim card.

Highly overrated control.. In the Senate the Republican minority set a record for filibustering proposed laws once the magic 60 majority was lost. Without a super majority in the Senate you might as well have a limp dick.

Dems lost their super majority in Feb 2010.

The Democrats held the majority until early 2011. They've been unsuccessful because their policies cannot be sold to the moderates of both parties who truly controls Congress.

Most people who respond to polls are old white people, who lived through segregation, who happen to not support Obama, nobody gives a fuck about the poll, give up, Obama's winning in 2012, and you can't do anything legally to stop it.

Certainly not with the amazingly bad current mob of losers, that's for sure!

===========

As an honest aside - though I admittedly don't follow internal Republican (nor Democrat for that matter) machinations, I'm REALLY surprised at the horrendous group of "candidates" so far outed. No kidding - shocked to the floor. Perhaps the crazy precedent of the last election (not McCain, but his VP) just blew away sanity in the Republican Party SO much that they're simply incapable of thinking anymore, instead merely reacting? That sure would explain wht every newcomer to The Mob is instantly the front-runner.

He did about the same or more than Bush without a raging housing bubble. Bush had 7.5 to 8 percent unemployment which fell to 5 percent. Obama's unemployment rate fell 2 percentage points without the benefit of 2 million housing contractors going back to work.

Don't forget. In calculating unemployment the labor dept. Just this year dropped 3 million people off their statistical roll and simply wrote them out of the employment pool. That move alone dropped the unemployment stat by 2 %. nice try though Lester.

When Bush left office unemployment was just under 5%. Now it is stuck at over 9%. If Obama is going to blame Bush at least go back to the mistakes Bush made that left us at 5%.
