I really want to get a tatto. But i have no idea what i want.
I've been to a parlor and gone through the samples...
But, i still can't decide.
Any suggestions from my buddies here?

Conie,
I think someone rationally needs to talk you out of the idea of getting a tattoo. Sure, they might be fine on some people - it may lend a bit to their personality, too. However, I think most people have a change of mind after it's all said an done.
Also, I guess lately when I see tattoos on a lady, I don't get too inspired and often question in my mind what were they thinking when they had that done?

The first step is to find a quality tattoo shop, one that has experienced, well known artists and guarantees their work.
The absolute best place in Virginia is River City Tattoo in Richmond. Even better, one of the best places on the east coast is Jinx Proof in Georgetown. They have nationally known artists and have a very extensive collection of flash.
It's worth the drive as this will be on your body for life. If you think to yourself "oh if I don't like it I'll just have it lasered off" you have the wrong mentality and will probably pick something you will regret.

I think that is because hands swell from time to time due to blood pressue increase etc.
