"There was once a beloved king whose castle was on a high hill, overlooking his shire. He was so popular that the nearby townspeople sent him gifts daily, and his birthday celebration was enjoyed throughout the kingdom. The people loved him for his renowned wisdom and fair judgments.

One day, tragedy stuck the town. The water supply was polluted, and every man, woman, and child went insane. Only the king, who had a private spring, was spared.

Soon after the tragedy, the mad townspeople began speaking of how the king was acting “strangely” and how his judgments were poor and his wisdom a sham. Many even went so far as to say that the king had gone crazy. His popularity soon vanished. No longer did the people bring him gifts of celebrate his birthday.

The lonely king, high on the hill, had no company at all. One day he decided to leave the hill and pay a visit to the town. It was a warm day, and so he drank from the village fountain.

That night there was a great celebration. The people all rejoiced, for their beloved king had 'regained his sanity.'"

Demonic possession is a very real thing, but most people do not perform exorcisms correctly. The Catholic church refuses to do them anymore in most cases.. The thing is, most of these people that die during an exorcism probably have an underlying health condition. Christianity is the only one true faith for exorcisms.

I'm quite well read on Buddhism and nowhere have I seen
anything that would call for such a thing. These people are
no more "Buddhist" than the Westboro Baptist Church is
"Christian". "If you see Buddha on the road, kill him for
it is an illusion." One of the goals of Buddhism is to be
able to see through illusions.

There can only be one true faith and that is Christianity. Logic dictates there can't be more then one, you create a contridiction. I suggest doubters read about Christianity, the religion based on Jesus and taught by Saint Paul then compare it to any other, I don't care which one, you'll see for yourself what a trully beautiful and loving and perfect religion and philosophy it is.

Logic is not worthy. Reading alone is insufficient.

eesh is not Yucky. eesh is a lib on most issues except gun control. He could not fake Yucky's fervent and detailed advocacy. Thinking like Yucky would make eesh's head explode.

eesh plays both sides of the political coin and posts anonymously as a hardcore ultra conservative in order to stir the pot.

He has admitted to being geronimo1.

Saw The Exorcist last night at Fairfax Corner movie theatre. They've been having a Horror Film festival during October on Thursday nights. 5 bucks at 9 p.m.
Kind of neat to see old movies on big screen. The Exorcist seemed to scare the 20somethings in the crowd. They showed original Texas Chainsaw Massacre during summer. Had never seen. Made me feel oogie
