I drove up to Charlottesville this weekend and rode my 3 speed bike around town to put up posters for my show at Para Coffee. I wanted to really make sure the little kiddies from UVA saw them, so hopefully in a drunken stupor they will stumble in on my show for the April 7th. I went through a lot of trouble making them, so I hope and pray no jealous rock bands tear them down in the mean time. Let's see, I left them all over campus, at local strip malls, the downtown mall (Lordy, that place is a mess!), and all around where the uppity college kids hang out. I sure hope they come. If Dave Matthews could do it, so can I! The weather was lovely this weekend. Its always fun to spread my name around wherever possible. College towns are great places to do this. I also leave my posters near nursing and retirement homes, so unsuspecting old folks can get in touch with yours truly.

All the self promotion sure left me hungry. I grabbed a burger at one of the local college kiddie hang outs. I'm not sure the name. They all look the same to me. Even though Im still watching my figure, I was able to chow down, given all that hard bike riding I was doing. These new invisalign braces I'm wearing do kinda slow me down some times. The people at the table across from me didn't look too pleased when I popped those suckers out of my mouth to place them into the receptacles. They thought those dang things were dentures! Rest assured, I may be a little bit older now, but not quite ready for Poligrip and rinse. Yesterday I was in Colonial Williamsburg , pleading with Aroma's Coffeeshop to let me play there again. They're somehow afraid my glorious music will scare off the patrons. I think they should be right honored to have me. I'd add a bit of talent to their place. Not that they don't have any talented people playing there already. My gracious goodness- they do try.. There's only so much Jazz listening I can take before I'm ready to be taken home. Anyways, its time to soak my teeth again.

Keep trying, no one ever got anywhere without a little sweat equity. Those folks around there are all short so what you want to do is post them over way over 6 feet swo they can't ripped them off in a jealous rage. Keep the faith and the home fires burning. Your fan Billy.

The died of getting to excited for Meade! He really knows how to get the older people in a state of frenzy over how wonderfully talented he is !
