Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
I received an Orvis catalog today. A remarkable selection of cool men's clothing with a wide price range. Worth a look for some sharp, and stylish clothing: http://www.orvis.com/store/home_page.aspx?bhcp=1

There are plenty of coats - winter, three season, and fall wind breakers that you can get from Neiman Marcus IN store for five - eight hundred dollars. But than again you are a fucking moron if you do. You seem like you have some sense of style by the way you dress (which is probably a lie), know Neiman Marcus is a overly priced (and acknowledge you should skip the store) yet still browse and actually purchase some clothing. Shop at an outlet mall. Unless you are pulling in over $250k a year, you and the rest of the people on this forum has no business shopping for everyday clothing and fluke-expenses at Neiman Marcus - it isn't worth it because it is overpriced, and plain stupid. Outlet malls such as Burberry, Ralph Lauren or even Sacks OFF 5th have excellent inventory at amazing prices. By the way the J. Crew outlet in Leesburg not only has 1/3 of the EXACT same current inventory as the store in Tysons 2, they recieved the same FLOOR PLAN to set up this inventory from J. Crew - some designers or labels don't revamp their entire collection on a seasonal basis, so current clothing can be sold at outlet's and normal botiques at the same time.
Bottom line - use your head. 5 - 8 hundred dollars on a whim for a jacket. You either are very stupid or very rich, and the fact that you play on fairfaxunderground alludes to the first.
