Slice vs Abbott

Internet Legend Kimbo Slice Vs. UFC's semi-retired Tank Abbott. September 14th in Atlantic City, NJ.

I went to the Ray Mercer / Kimbo fight on June 23rd. Very fun time - a nice way to get out of NoVa for the weekend or one Saturday night. Get there at 4PM, gamble and get housed, Kimbo/Mercer, then back to the casino to lose the rest of your money.

Plenty of street walkers there, too

Holy shit! thats gonna be a fucking good fight. Damn thats a dream matchup if I have ever heard one.. I am hoping Tank is still in the same KICK-ASS condition as he used to be.. He was the man in UFC who seperated the men from the boys..

This should be a BRUTAL FIST FIGHT!

Actually, during the last Kimbo fight in Atlantic City. I noticed Tank Abbott was actually in the first row. He stood up to take some pictures with people before and after the fight.

I am a fan of Tank too but he looked extremely unimpressive IRL. He has got to be pushing 40 years old by now. I think most likely he will get dismantled by Kimbo in round one.

That one was the first I had been to, back in June. It is convenient just to watch it on youtube, but it is also a lot of fun to see in person.

If I recall correctly, they showed a video of Tank lifting weights and training. Tank was at the fight. I think that he was doing commentary.

What really disappointed me was that all of the fighters were wearing padded gloves? No blood, no knock-outs.

I hope Tank wins but we'll have to see about the age difference (42-31).

How come when I went to look for when they are showing this fight. It says december 10th but you say september on the first post? Which is it

When I first created this post the fight was scheduled for September. I saw it advertised through several credible sources.

Upon investigating cagefuryfighting dot com, it does appear the event has been rescheduled for October 12th. Sorry for the confusion.

Hotels will probably be cheaper in October anyways. Last time I paid $300 to stay at a POS Comfort Inn on Kentucky Blvd I believe it was - will not do that again.

Lmao give me motel 8 for 70 a night. im sure it isnt far from comfort.. i think you are paying those extra bucks for their marketing
