There is a term in medical head science called entitlement. Entitlement is a term shrinks used to describe a person who feels he/she deserves something for basically doing nothing. They think they deserve rewards and presents simply for existing, like the world owes them something. Family owes them something, society owes them something simply because "they exist", that is all the justification they deserve for a reward, that they are who they are.
