The report that prosecutors might be nearing the final stages of their criminal tax inquiry into Weisselberg comes in the wake of reports that Jeff McConney – a senior vice-president and controller for the Trump Organization – has testified before the Manhattan special grand jury.

Trump doesn't have presidential immunity and many of his staff have flipped including Cohen. Cohen alone could give enough information to jail Trump for 20 years.

By the time prosecutors get him to court, Trump will suddenly be a very old man, with a lot of ailments that his lawyers will tell the court are going to soon kill him. The judge will allow him home incarceration, at least until foreclosure and/or seizure make that impossible.

Speaking of which, it is on the civil side Trump is in trouble. New York could very easily have the Trump Organization put into receivership. Which means the cash flow is cut off. It was reported last year (and never denied) that Trump is personally on the hook for a shitload of money that is coming due over the next few years. Finally, there is a possibility, however remote that he owes lenders whose collection activities are not necessarily restrained by American law.

Hard to make these payments if you get RICOed. The kids should have clipped his wings before it got this far.

The fucker really does have major legal problems. Serious civil lawsuits. Major financial problems. And when Weisselberg turns, and you know he will, Trump will be in the shitter with criminal problems, tax and otherwise. Trump knew this was all coming which is why he's so desperate and delusional about the election. He knew that remaining as president was his best bet to get out of it all.
