So for the second time in 50 years, the extremely expensive US Military is withdrawing in disgrace, defeat and humiliation from a 3rd world shithole, having been soundly whoop-assed by said shithole with just AK-47s and primitive RPG's.

So that begs the question, is the US Military the Saleen S7 of world militaries??

The Saleen S7, for those that don't remember, was an American supercar that was very expensieve ($400,000 in 2005) and looked fantastic. The only problem was it couldn't go around a track nor be driven in traffic. It would overheat in 5 minutes in stop & go traffic and the brakes immediately stopped working going around a track. It was also extremely uncomfortable and you had to be a midget to fit inside. In other words, it was a giant piece of American shit that was all looks and no action.

Is this the American military today??? A Saleen S7.

Expensive -> YES.
Good Looking -> YES.
Piece of Shit that can't win wars -> YES.
Better off driving a Honda Civic (i.e. AK-47) -> YES

This was explained to you yesterday. Afghanistan is several thousand miles away, has a population that is 95% hostile to all who are foreign and has an insurgency that is equipped and funded by not one but several state and none state actors. None of these exist in America and there are no logistical challenges to overcome for the government to stamp out a “guerilla” movement here. You clearly have never served much less been in the sand box yourself. I’m not even a Democrat and this talk from civilians is hilarious to me.

As was also explained yesterday, everyone in the military has wives, kids, parents and friends living among the people they will trying to kill. That will make their families target one.

Unlike these far away lands who are barely out of the stone age anyway, shutting down the power and depriving democrat/government areas of food would be easy in this country. When the military has to be deployed to NYC and Chicago to keep their own supporters from eating each other, that's assets that can't be used to hunt down insurgents who happen to look just like everyone else they're supposed to be helping.

Only a fool thinks 100% of the military would take up arms against an actual insurrection in this country. At best, it would be 70%. The other 30% would defect to the insurrection. And that's best case scenario for the staters. National guard even more likely to side with the insurrection or stay in service but act as saboteurs or spies. Probably 60% of the guard at least.

There much more, but suffice it to say that this has been recently wargamed by DOD and DHS and the government lost every time within 12 months. In their scenarios, the most dangerous enemy of the government were veterans, who have at least as much experience as the current military members, more firepower in terms of small arms, and outnumber active duty personnel 7 to 1.

The fact that you don't know the vulnerabilities of our infrastructure or all the logistical and geographical challenges the military would face here just proves you understand nothing about this.

PS, Russia would most definitely supply weapons to an insurgency in this country.

We need our troops back home to prevent ISIS from aiding and abetting black American voters in Georgia with food and water.

Obama kept his afghanistan war alive for 8 fucking years for the purpose of murdering our soldiers. Trump stopped obama's war almost immediately and brought all but a few home. Biden escalated troops to afghanistan and Syria and the south china sea when president Trump had everything peaceful and under control.
