mRNA is fairly new and has been used in targeted clinical trials and is approved for very specific conditions, however the US has NEVER used ANY mRNA vaccines for school aged kids as part of a standard regimen of basic vaccinations.

It is a fairly new technology but it has been used in clinical trials for around a decade with no particular problems. Standard vaccines have side effects and have caused problems. There are reasons to believe that mRNA vaccines are safer than standard vaccines. There is an exceedingly small risk of harm in taking these vaccines. As others posted, the riskier behavior, by far, is driving to the vaccine site to get the shot.

Yes, as posted above mRNA vaccines are extremely limited to specific types of attacks on the body. The only problem with an mRNA vaccine is that is very limited in the type of strain it can protect against.
If COVID mutates enough the mRNA code will not find the COVID variant.
You have a better change of getting something from chemicals in soda or food additives than mRNA vaccines.
