I don't know how many helicopters FFX Co. has, but at one point I remember that the Commonwealth of Virginia had 3 helicopters and Fairfax Co. had 4. I lived in Mantua in the 90s. There was an unauthorized pool party on my block where the neighbor was out of town and bunch of kids showed up to use their pool. The cops got called, but believe it or not, a helicopter was dispatched. For a pool party.

That's when I knew what bullshit it was. FFX needs maybe one. And it probably needs to fly about once a month.

Yeah, and the cost of a helicopter is dwarfed by the accumulative maintenance and operating costs down the road.

this is why I asked. The FCPD has ONE helicopter. The did once have two, about 15-20 years ago. But reduced it to one because of maintenance costs.
