Their official reason is that it has not yet been approved by the FDA and is considered experimental. Michigan and Nevada have gone so far as to threaten any doctor who prescribes it, asking pharmacists to call that state's regulators if they get prescriptions for things other than arthritis. Insane.

It's already approved by the FDA and readily available. Literally hundreds of people have been cured with it.

I just learned that Nevada's democrat governor's medical officer doesn't even have a license to practice medicine.

This is so over the top a straight up attack on US citizens by democrats. It's nuts

That is a lie. The drug has shown in tests that it is no more effective at treating the virus than palliative care.

Here's a pic of Ihsan Azzam, the NV Chief Medical Officer, who isn't even licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. He is the one who told Sislok not to allow hydroxychloroquine to be used in NV. He is a muzzie with no real credentials in medicine and tells people he practiced ob/gyn in Africa in the 1980's before he came to the U.S. There is no evidence that this is true.
