Let's see,
1, I am getting paid for a month or more without using my leave hours
2, I do not have to work.
3, Gas prices are low and I am going on a road trip.
4, The government is sending the wife and I a check for 1000 bucks each.
5, My pension plan is unaffected.
This whole situation is wonderful!

Your pension plan is backed by investments just like everyone else's is. Your pension plan has been affected. You just don't see it as you are not drawing from it yet. Trust me, your fund has lost over 30% of its value in the past few weeks. Your pension plan is unaffected?
Either you are a high level exec with a defined benefit plan, a relic from the 70's, or, military/education/gov.
In the first instance, you wouldn't be worried about a pension so much, in the second, you are either dead or in a nursing home, in the third, that is a trade off for not making that much money during your working career...
And have fun on that road trip!
