Warning to all, I went to visit a friend today at INOVA and parked in the Gray Garage. Anyway my 5 year old son ran ahead of me and was some middle eastern pedo freak pulled up to him in a Prius. Sorry I don't spend much time in the Inova parking garage. So that I may correctly picture this, is the sidewalk towards the wall of the inside garage? Wouldn't a five year old be short enough not to be seen when there are cars parked between him and the travel lanes?

Are you suggesting that if a law abiding resident of Fairfax county sees a 5 year old walking alone a few feet from traffic in a non residential area, leave him be? Is stopping to make sure he is not lost not ok? Asking "where is your mommy and daddy?" enough to get one labeled as a pedo? Words of advice... If you are walking through a parking lot on a day like today (95 degrees) and you see a five year old being cooked alive in a locked car, assume it is the original posters' kid.
