The neighborhood that hated Christmas

Ever see a neighborhood where absolutely nobody decorates- no lights, no ornaments, not even a wreath.

I have noticed a few neighborhoods like this in Fairfax and they are both creepy and sad. It is like working on the 4th of July.

Everyone has their reasons, some may be religious, maybe these people are Jews, Muslims or Hindus. Whatever it is, it is strange that a whole block is dark while neighbors nearby are joyous and bright.

Have you seen any neighborhoods that hate Christmas?

Pedophiles are not allowed to distribute candy on Halloween. They are probably not allowed to decorate for Xmas either. That's your problem there, man. You live in a neighborhood filled with pedophiles.

Christmas has become just as commercialized as Halloween and Valentine’s Day. Christmas lights cost the average household $75 dollars every month they are up. Those costs triple for people who feel the need to deck their entire front yard with all sorts of lights and other illuminating decorations. All this coupled with wreaths, trees , garlands etc. can cost you north of $300 dollars. No thanks.
