Most of the items Trump wanted to do these last two years had to get past the senate, but he only had one vote extra. Now he gained 53-47, securing even more power. Aside from the usual people here, looks like America likes Trump.

No he started with 52 votes. Then lost in Alabama even though he campaigned for a pedophile. Now he's at 53 seats even though he had the most favorable senate map in a century. He lost the popular vote by 9 million Americans this time.

Let's not gloss over the facts.

Sorry you dont seem to understand the midterm election. Dems had double the number of challenges to Senate seats that the GOP did. That with Gerrymandering meant it would have been nearly impossible for them to gain seats. Id call the Senate a near draw.

Now as to the House Dems have won 40 seats, flipped from Repub to dem. Also they got 59 million votes to 50 million for Dems - a historic turnout and margin. Add to that a net gain of hundreds of seats in State houses Governor races and its hard to come to the conclusion this was in anyway a victory or even tie for GOP. Trump is in trouble as are the GOP and in a booming economy.

Trump Train is going down hill now with no brakes.
