Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is an American multinational semiconductor company based in Santa Clara, California (was out of Texas like Intel in the past if I remember, like Texas instruments is (or was?)).
reportedly (no source) Intel continues to struggle with its 10nm manufacturing process, which is delayed until late 2019
If AMD can field 7nm processors early next year, it will mark the first time in the company's history. But that's exactly the problem.
IT'S JUST AN ANNOUNCEMENT, NOT A PRODUCT. INTEL MAY EVEN BEAT THEM TO THE RELEASE FOR ALL WE KNOW.
meanwhile - Apple Computer has released Mojave and devices it didn't even announce until release: on schedule. many new products consumers have begged for. (apple runs %100 usa boards and chips mostly - and use both intel and amd, excellent and simple to use multi-media multi-device, unix enthusiasts like it, they promote real security and user privacy)
the problem with Promise hardware (asian brand). they rarely came through on promises, were quick to print promises of future driver upgrades on boxes.
