With this fabulous internet, why are you misquoting people?


Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees. I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective.

I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third-party.

This makes no sense. If Sean Hannity is not a client then there is no attorney-client privilege and Hannity has no standing to object to the seizure of Cohen's files. There is no "we talked a few times and I told him things that I don't want others to know about but he was never my attorney" privilege. You either claim that the guy was for brief moments your lawyer, or you accept the fact that everything you said to Cohen can be freely shared.
