* sanctuary state politicians living in (mc) mansions
* mexicans flooding in
* LGTB
* waterside border - if under-used
* government funded schooling
* crime wave
* techies running around with starbucks coffee
* presence of "homeless camps"
* what else?

(i first began seeing sfgate because there are countless DiY articles in their archive with good homeowner advice i was searching for)
