Should Republicans Still Get Rid of or Cut Founding for FEMA?

Before Sandy republicans wanted FEMA gone. Before Sandy they planned to cut most funds. Before Harvey, in August, republicans and Trump wanted to cut the FEMA budget by close to a $1 billion dollars.

Should republicans still get rid of FEMA?
