"Located in the western Pacific Ocean, Guam is one of five American territories with an established civilian government."

Guam was IS an essential for USA conflict with Japan, for logistics reasons, very important. It was not "yielded to fall to japan gov someday" after the war as japan is, it's very important.

(in non-wartime, it's also a sea trade asset, of course)



I guess all our wise words on FFU are for naught. Korea is still not sain smart!
