They will never recover. It's like the have spent all weekend at the casino and now they are down to their last paycheck. They are trying to bet it all in hopes that they will somehow have a hail Mary up their sleeve. It's 2:00 AM and the lights are going out. It's time to leave the bar. Last call was 20 minutes ago. I do care where you stay, but it can't be here.

They won't ever be relevant again. I'm not going to go so far as to say they are going extinct like some posters on the forum have, but they are quickly becoming a regionalized and small faction political party. I am an independent and used to vote Democrat more often than not. As it stands right now, I don't see myself ever voting for a Democrat again.
