I wish you the best OP. However I fear the reality may be far different from your fantasy.

You see yourself fleeing from a Fairfax becoming increasingly overrun with outsiders and going to someplace where people are more like you. Many of the people living where you are headed see you and those like you are the outsiders coming in and ruining their idyllic neighborhoods. And while you are leaving Fairfax, bits of Fairfax will stay with you and those like you. You will find yourself missing some of the amenities and conveniences you had in Fairfax, and you will find you are more likely to hang out with other NoVa ex-pats than with the natives. And If you somehow do manage to shed all of Fairfax and go native, you will find yourself getting frustrated with all the others like you who are fleeing NoVa for Fauquier.

The only constant is change. That applies as much to Fauquier as to Fairfax. Best of luck.

Go to an elementary school in Fauquier. 90% white kids. The beaners can't live there in any great numbers because there's not a lot of low cost housing there like Sharon and her libfags brought to Fairfax. But Bill 'the fag' N. is correct. Eventually, the liberal locust will infest it enough to turn the local government purple, then blue. It took 20 years in Fairfax. It'll took about 10 years for Loudoun. It'll probably take 20 for Fauquier as it doesn't have a liberal beachhead like Leesburg that Loudoun had.

I live in Annandale in Canterbury Woods and we have a few immigrant families that live on our street. I have a bolivian family that lives next door, and they are mostly quiet and keep to themselves. No loud parties, no issues with police, nothing. We have a family from Nigeria as well a couple houses down who own a taxi business and the only times I ever see or hear them is in the morning when they are going to work and the afternoon when they are mowing their lawn and playing with their kids. We have a family of dinks, cambodians and algerians as well who are nothing but nice and just want to live the American dream.

Well Ive lived in Fauquier for a couple decades and im afraid it's not a whole hell of a lot different than Fairfax at this point. Unless you get way away from Warrenton. Fast food joints, gas stations, traffic, spics, nogs. Probably the biggest difference is very low crime but that's inching up. And God help you if you have to commute to a job. The traffic to and from NOVA is spectacular.

I've been out in Warrenton about 20 years and the commute and crime has just gotten worse every year! Everything closes early, so if you commute you end up having to stop somewhere along the way home. It's not out of the question to suffer through a two hour commute trying to get home.

On a lighter side of it, I get to bypass a lot of the less than desirables both ways.

Fauquier is okay as long as your kids don't attend school here. The education is poor and half the school buildings are chock full of asbestos. Kids will have cancer in their 40s if you send them there. There are some really good and safe private schools here like The Highland school and Wakefield.

I am from a rural area of Virginia 95% whites in the county. They are no prize. Most receive social security disability and talk constantly about when their next check will arrive in their account. Then you have the meth heads. Because the county is rural there is little law enforcement coverage to break up the labs. They are a violent bunch and because they use meth they are paranoid as hell and would kill anyone they think is a threat to their livelihood.

I have personally seen a sharp bump in Hijab wearing women around my region, esp. in the past 6 months. It doesn't bother me as much anymore. Half of those women may actually hate having to wear it.

As for the bad apples of the bunch, which we all know exist, the easy solution is to move out to green pastures. But for the rest of us who cannot do that, it is to mingle and get to know, neighbors, business owners and people who have good common sense. BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. Why?

I used to have two barbers from Fairfax County back in the '90s. They sounded like they were sons of Robert E. Lee. Real Gentlemen. They left and moved to the Shenandoah Valley. Couldn't take the Yankees and the foreigners.

They'd have 2 put motrobus in Fauquier for the mexicans & negroes 2 go out there. They have metrobus in FFXCO but not a lot in Fauquier. If U see more metrobus service out there, then it's time to move somewhere else if U can't deal w/mexis or negroes.

I couldn't care less about the evergrowing influx of foreigners. I've never had a problem personally. They all keep to themselves anyway, within their own little communities within the community.
