I miss Don and Mike

...if Don and Mike came back on the air, it vould make many people very happy.

The Radio Gods were a victim of a post Jackson FCC. They were great until they had their tounges tied. then the ratings naturally followed. I wish them well. I miss Rob A

I miss Don and Mike too, but I can understand why Don didn't want to go back to the station that reminded him of his deceased wife. Mike wasn't the same without Don, but they were great together. Donnie G. saved his money, so he doesn't have to work any longer. Mike, on the other hand, with his poor business decisions and multiple x-wives, probably has to work for another decade or two. Mike....stop marrying loser listeners.

This forum did ot help much. some asked the guy for the Freda segment so many times that it almost lost the sincerity he was trying to convey. While Don lost his wife people asked him stupid questions that would piss me off for sure. Then some of you on here referred to him as Mike Source like he was your damn drinking buddy. Don has at times on the air been an ass but that is why I think most of us enjoyed it. My favorite was the call to Kosovo. If that hotel manager didn't hate Americans before, Don secured the fact that he did now. Wonder if that bomb ever got painted courtesy of the Don and Mike show.

Then Mike tried to keep going forward and this forum shot him down. You must have serious social issues to run someone down who is trying to not only bring you entertainment, but take away some of the old ways of doing things and be more in touch with the listeners. YOU ALL CAN SIT AND SPIN!

This forum had little to nothing in either Don leaving nor Mike failing. Sure they pissed him off when Freda died, but the fact is, and he said the same thing when he left, he came back too soon. Mike just was never meant to be a number 1 and had a terrible show that no one liked.

Also, I'm right-handed.

Great question...Unfortunately it's hard to answer. However, I think a big part of the problem is Dave Hughes and his allowing of this guys over the top nonsense. Bicknell swears he is a DC radio legend, yet, hardly anyone seems to know who he (or Davy Jones) is.

DCRTV has devolved into one big borefest. TV and radio in D.C.sucks and the dude running site plays it's safe most of the time cause he's so dependent on the radio/ tv folks for his livelihood. I guess it was inevitable indubitably

The guy running DCRTV thinks he is so relevant in regards to how the DC radio and TV market are made up. He commonly gets "news" and then conveniently leaves his source off his reporting. He is everything that is wrong with the "news" industry.

He feels he is the be all, end all in DC because a few 80 year old has-beens most have never heard of hang out on his site reminiscing the days of old.
