There are a number of big name football personalities such as Adam Schefter, Mike Shanahan, Tom Brady's agent Don Yee and former wide reciever Ed McCafferey among others who have helped develop the league, which will enable players who are academically ineligible to play college football to play in a pro style system. The first four teams will be based in California with the possibility for more to be created nationwide if the model proves to be feasible. Players will be paid an average of $50,000 a year. I think Richmond could be a viable candidate for one of these teams at some point.
